The Emojional
Emoji art

Step closer
Welcome
Every piece begins with the same impulse: to turn tiny digital symbols into something emotional, handmade, and human.
Process
Each emoji begins as a separate transparent PNG, chosen for color, meaning, and texture.
The image is built in Photoshop through thousands of small manual placements.
From far away, the image resolves into a complete scene. Up close, the surface reveals the emoji structure.
Fine Art Prints
Each artwork is produced as a fine art print on archival paper, signed, numbered, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
Works
Digital / 2025
A reflection on greatness emerging from humble beginnings, built from thousands of individual emoji PNGs.
The expression is built from small skin-tone, shadow, eye, and mouth emoji PNGs.
Gold, shine, shadow, and contour are created from repeated emoji choices.
The badge, jersey, and shadows show how color families become texture.
A small moment in the image becomes a study in repetition and scale.
Digital / 2019
Like Alice falling into Wonderland, the artist descends into her own emoji universe.
Digital / 2020 / Series
The same emotional garden shifts through different atmospheres: creamy light, sunset warmth, pink intensity, and darkness.
Digital / 2021 / Diptych
A pandemic diptych about resilience, pressure, and the absurd tenderness of survival. The second panel answers back: make the best freaking lemonade.
The Artist
Artist Statement
We live immersed in a constant obsession with digital communication: screens, social networks, endless messages, exhausted hands and minds. A continuous flow of information promises connection, yet often distances us from analog experience and genuine human contact.
My work emerges from this tension. Through the obsessive and repetitive use of emojis, a universal and collectively shared digital language, I construct images that seek to slow down perception and restore emotional density to the digital realm.
Each piece is composed of thousands of minimal units, placed one by one, through a process akin to embroidery and pointillism. In this accumulation, the cold becomes human, the instant becomes duration, and the superficial is re-signified into a search for meaning.
